The Body Literacy Audiobook is a 2.5 hour guided exploration of the Body Literacy Coloring Book and Visual Reader.
This audiobook has descriptive audio for each page for listeners with low vision or blindness.
The audiobook also has meaningful insight and analysis behind each of the pages of the book and can be used to accompany deeper exploration of the units contained within.
Each of the over 200 anatomical terms listed in the glossary are defined and discussed as we learn why each image is impactful and how it sharpens our self mastery.

The Body Literacy Coloring Book / Visual Reader are meant to serve the public good, which is why the images will be licensed with Creative Commons, allowing doulas, birth workers, reproductive justice advocates, and other fertility awareness educators everywhere the opportunity to use these works in their own materials with their clients without fear of reprisal or copyright infringement.
I felt this was a necessary component to this project as well. My hope is that this will allow for the project to expand into other areas and to encourage others interested in medical illustration to go deeper into this subject.
